News: Filipino Gaming Firm Raided by Police

I just read the news that last month a gaming company in the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino in the Philippines was raided by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and arrested several of its employees. The company was Meridien Vista Gaming Corporation. The police allege that they were running an operation similar to jueteng, that illegal numbers game that’s popular in the Philippines. Apparently it had expanded its operations outside of the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority where it had permission and was thus operating without proper permits.

Anyone else have any more information about this? Or know of any developments?
